Andre Halaburda, Field Operations and Construction Manager
In 2005, Mr. Halaburda founded KD Homes Builder (KDH) to provide residential clients with architectural and construction management services. Halaburda’s primary purpose was to ensure his clients benefited from high quality, cost-effective and deadline driven home building solutions. Initially operating as the project executive, Halaburda would take projects through the design and construction document stages and then coordinated the project’s municipal and utility requirements. Halaburda applied a range of skills to his variety of residential projects ranging from project design, contract drafting, scheduling, bid and scope analysis cost reporting, value engineering options to collections.
Mr. Halaburda later shifted his role to that of KDH’s Field Operations and Construction Manager in 2011 when Robert Mendoza, a new business partner, acquired ownership of KDH. Building upon its combined 40+ years of architectural, construction management, infrastructure development and engineering background, KDH obtained a solar license, as well as State required installation and design instruction, to continue evolving as a solar contract installer. In particular, Halaburda has received specialized education from Ontility Solar Training to ensure the company remains in compliance with all requirements mandated by the Louisiana Contractors Licensing Board. KDH Solar, the company’s solar operations subsidiary, now operates as the leading installer of residential solar panel systems in the State of Louisiana.
